Privacy Policy

DutyWatchman (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Keptly LLC, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA. This policy explains what data the app accesses when a merchant installs it, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

DutyWatchman is read-only. It does not create, change or delete anything in your Shopify store.

1. Data we access

• Store information: shop domain, billing country, and plan. The store's contact email is read when an email is sent and is not stored.
• Product data: titles, SKUs, barcodes, HS codes and countries of origin of active products.
• Order data from the last 60 days: order name and date, line item titles and amounts, the codes used for duties, and the shipping country. We do not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses or payment details.
• When you uninstall: Shopify tells us the store owner's email address once. We use it for a single email asking what was missing, and do not store it.
• Support: messages you send us.

2. How we use the data

• Showing which variants lack an HS code or country of origin, sorted by revenue.
• Showing where the code used on an order differs from the one on the product.
• Sending alert emails and a monthly report on the Pro plan, and one feedback question after you uninstall.
• Counting, per store, how many orders went abroad and how many had duties, so we can tell whether the app is useful to stores like yours.

We do not sell data, rent data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

3. Service providers

• Render Services, Inc. — hosting of the app and its database (United States).
• Resend — delivery of emails. Receives the recipient address and the content.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — domain name service and hosting of this website.

4. Storage and security

• Data is stored on servers in the United States. All connections use TLS.
• Access to production data is limited to the people who operate the app.

5. Retention and deletion

• While the app is installed: we keep the latest check result (order names, product titles, codes and counts), the monthly counts for your report, and the store counts described above. Shipping countries are only counted, not kept per order.
• When you uninstall the app: we stop accessing your data and delete the data we hold for your store. What remains is one row of numbers without any link to your store: variant count, share complete, order counts and whether Pro was active.
• On request: email hello@keptlyusa.com from the store account's email address and we delete your data within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email hello@keptlyusa.com. We respond within 30 days. We also handle Shopify's customer data requests and store redaction requests as Shopify requires.

7. Children

DutyWatchman is a business tool for store owners. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we tell you by email before it takes effect.
